Everyday living
Help with the day, at home.
Bathing, dressing, grooming, and getting around the house — unhurried help with the routines that make the day feel like their own.

Personal care is help with everyday needs: the bathroom, getting dressed, grooming, and moving from room to room. A caregiver can stay through the parts of morning or evening that have become hard.
This is not skilled nursing. We do not perform medical procedures or manage medications as a nurse would. If your loved one needs a nurse, we will say so.
Families ask for this when a parent wants to stay in the house they already know, or when someone is home after a hospital stay and still needs hands-on help that is not clinical.
Who this is for.Older adults, people recovering at home, and anyone whose day is harder than the house can manage alone.
